Brahms, Ballades Op. 10, Alfred ed.

Description:
This set of four Ballades is Brahms' first collection of loosely connected pieces. He subtitled the third of the set "Intermezzo," suggesting that the four Ballades should perhaps be considered as a single unit, even though the keys change from one ballade to the next, unlike the practice with a suite. Published by Alfred. Edited by Maurice Hinson.
