Description: Rachmaninoff's solo piano music was largely writen before 1917 so that most of it has been played and heard for over 65 years without signs of reaching retirement age. The most important works in this category began with the five pieces in this published as opus 3 and fashionably entitled Morceaux de Fantasie. Both the Melodie, and Serenade were revised by Rachmaninoff in 1940. However this edition includes these two selections in their original versions. Published by Alfred. Edited by Murray Baylor.
