Description: Originally composed in 1795 as the last movement of Haydn's "Trio in G," for keyboard, violin and cello, which become very popular in England and in Europe, Haydn subsequently published it for piano in London as a "Finale Rondo, in the Gipsies' style." The piece is fast-paced, with many running sixteenth note passages and a variety of touches and dramatic dynamics. Performance notes are included.
