Alfred Masterwork Editions present Claude Debussy's Petite Suite for One Piano Four Hands. Debussy composed the Petite Suite in 1888 when he was 26. This was four years after he had left the Paris Conservatory, where he won the Prix de Rome in his last year which enabled him to go to Italy. Piano duet playing is the most intimate form of chamber music. A refined degree of sensitivity and awareness of what the other player is doing is required in duet player.
