Multi-Key Reading includes both original compositions and folk tune melodies in all twelve major keys and several minor keys. The majority of the pieces are in five-finger positions, though some require a shift of position. Playing by "feel" rather than looking at the keyboard is emphasized and many different rhythms and meters occur. Constant review of the key positions both by reading and transposing is stressed.
