Description:
The Hal Leonard Student Piano Library Lesson Book 1 combines solid pedagogy, exceptional music, and a fresh approach to creativity. Directional reading is taught first by finger number, then by note name, and then by interval (stop, skip, and repeat). Once the students are introduced to the staff, they learn reading guides Bass F and Treble G and read by interval in several different hand positions. The Lesson Books are also available with an instrumental accompaniment CD which includes two tracks per piece, one at a practice tempo with the piano solo and one at a performance tempo without the piano solo.
