The main purpose of this edtion is to make available a collection of some of the bast known and most attractive sonatas of Scarlati in an edition designed for performance on the modern piano. These sonatas provide a representative selection from the large number that exist and provide a wide range of musical interest and technical usefulness. They have been selected mainly for the intermediate to moderately advanced student.
